• Only one-quarter of road resurfacing projects suggested by the County Department of Transportation appeared in the originally approved County budget of last year.
  • DOT knows that taking care of road improvements on a regular schedule will be the best plan to keep our roads in good shape in the future.
  • We must do a better job of plowing snow from all roads—even in neighborhoods. No one in Montgomery County should have to wait days to see a plow, regardless of the depth of a snowfall.
  • Completing the M-83 highway to relieve congestion on I-270 and throughout the Upper County needs to be a priority, not a continuation of a 50-year plan. We must take steps to build M-83 NOW.
